A C-Suite, PhD, MSc, BSc qualified executive and Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience, Dr. Kamiran Ibrahim is the CEO of Arcadis’ Middle East region. He is responsible for the guidance and direction of the leadership team whilst enhancing the overall performance of the region and has a proven track record of accomplishment and international experience within the project management, contracting, and consultancy industries for key ranking FTSE and Euronext Amsterdam listed companies across Europe, the Middle East, and African regions.

Dr. Ibrahim has served fourteen years at Arcadis and within that time has assumed several senior leadership roles. Since 2013, he led the State of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Sultanate of Oman regions in the capacity of Country Managing Director where he successfully delivered operational leadership, maintained full P&L responsibility and achieved significant growth for all three regions.

In Qatar, Dr. Ibrahim was responsible for co-creating technical and organizational solutions for strategic accounts whilst sustaining its market share and delivering profitable growth year-on-year. He is the executive board sponsor for the single largest contract to be awarded to Arcadis in its entire history, which has generated a turnover more than QAR1BN since 2013 – Ashghal’s GEC Contract 2. In 2015, Dr. Ibrahim went on to lead the negotiations for Arcadis’ second-largest contract win – the Dubai Creek Harbour Retail District located in Dubai, UAE. He has also led strategic business development and business expansion initiatives into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman whilst growing a healthy pipeline for Arcadis Middle East.
